We went to the minning museum in Butte Montana July 15 2009. The city of Butte actually in on the side of the mountain. It is claimed that this is the richest hill in the world. All because of the many different ores that is mined there. Copper is the main ore mined at this time however, they mine many other minerals including gold and silver.
